It’s not keyed to any particular project, I just thought it would very well convey the feeling of an old-school RPG. If you think you have an even better use for it, drop me a line.

Warcraft II Campaign

Seven challenging single-player maps with an accompanying story.

If you’ve been around long enough to remember the golden days of Ultima and Might & Magic, you’re also bound to have played Warcraft II. I made dozens of maps when the game came out, but was somewhat frustrated by the editor’s very few AI options, which severely limited the ability to make strategically interesting maps.

When the old WarCraft games earned a GoG re-release, I toyed around with the editor again and discovered that there were actually independent tools available to edit the AI! So I set out and created one more WarCraft II campaign that would offer the strategical depth I always wanted. It’s not WarCraft III, of course, but goes beyond The Dark Portal.

There’s even a storyline that follows the wizard Khadgar and its investigation of the legacy of the Dalaran magi. It fits directly between WarCraft II and WarCraft III.

Both storyline and installation procedure are included in English and German.

I hope you enjoy this blast from the past!
